A.   List of service activities engaged in during evaluation period:

 Spring 2020

 1.    Regularly attended Art Department meetings (S-a)

6.    Attended the Deans New Faculty Breakfast. (S-d)

7.    Educated Tinker lab Assistants on proper methods of how to use Embroidery machines and software (C-a)

8.    Participated in Art, Communication, and Theatre meetings (C-b)

9.    Member of Search Committee position for Executive Director for UG, Admissions, and Outreach (C-b)

10. Involved in training of Equal Opportunity Program (C-b)

11. Developed curriculum with the Art Department through the spring and summer (C-c)

Explanation of Activities Relevant to Service:

(1) He's attended all the art department and ACT meetings

(3): He taught the Tinkerlab assistants to learn how to use the CNC embroidery equipment and software. He also assisted with the inventorying of supplies in the Tinkerlab.

(11) He operated the Linda Jordan gallery, and maintained the gallery space; arranged the light    fixtures, spackled holes and painted the wall. Mr. Vazquez arranged a solo art show of “ Black Deaf artist show: Hilary Allumaga”, became consultation for him to give advice on how to promote the flyers, the press release statement, labels, reception, adveristing, and presentation at the exhibition.   

(9) Attended  EOP training for the Search Committee

(15) Created a 4 year course plan; developed 6 course contents, involved with subcommittee (studio art professors) remotely

(12) Cleaned, spackled, and painted the Washburn Art gallery

(14/15) Responsible for meeting minutes from spring to summer of 2020

(17) The award film was declined due to copyright.

 

Fall 2020
