Explanation of activities relevant to SCAR

(2): Mr. Vazquez also attended several opening exhibitions in NYC with artists to introduce himself and network with other artists and art influenced individuals.

(3): Several self-expenses paid trips to NYC were made by him to set up meetings with certain individuals regarding art exhibitions.

(5): He designed a poster/flyer with a statement for the annual art Faculty show.

(6): Mr. Vazquez discovered a long history disability lacking access at Hirshhorn museum. He contacted Senior Staff and shared his concerns. They arranged a meeting with him and he invited a faculty to discuss the issue of disability access. They will be part of their upcoming committee for the disability access to provide feedback and correspond with artists.

(8-c): Noma Bid contacted him and a faculty to create an exhibition at NoMa Bid Gallery, and He arranged meetings with a director who selected several faculty to be part of the group exhibition. They developed a concept of the art exhibition, a Press release letter and statement. They coordinated an opening reception and had art talks between the audience and artists. 

(8_d): The Shim Art Network Gallery invited him and a faculty to be part of an exceptional art society of the group exhibition during the Miami Art Basel week at Aqua Art Fair. They paid their own expenses for this conference. They monitored the gallery space, greeted curators, collectors, buyers, and fans. They represented themselves to show their artwork to society. They also attended several art fairs in Miami and witnessed the highlight of some artworks that made history.  

(9): His summer artist assistant experience: steel panels had to be sanded, painted and polished. He also assembled and installed them

(10): He was be represented by the THNK 1994 gallery. Last fall, they contacted him to assist in collaborating a pop-up merchandise club with the artwork he created with their past group exhibition as artwork on a T-shirt.
